This week's Lectionary readings are:

                                                Exodus 14:9-31

          Psalm 114 or Exodus 15:1b-11, 20-21

                                           Romans 14:1-12

                                        Matthew 18:21-25
Thought for the week:
"If you believe in a God who controls the big things, you have to believe in a God who controls the little things. It is we, of course, to whom things look "'little' or "big'".

- Elisabeth Elliot
In light of recent events, SPC invites all to pray for unity in our community:

O God, you created all people in your image. We thank you for the astonishing variety of races and cultures in the world. Enrich our lives by ever-widening circles of friendship, and show us your presence in those who differ from us, until our knowledge of your love is made perfect in our love for all your children. Grant, oh God, that your holy and life-giving Spirit may so move every human heart, that the barriers which divide us may crumble, suspicions disappear, and hatred cease, and that with our divisions healed, we might live in justice and peace; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
